Christmas Tour of Homes
The tour includes homes decorated by the owners.
Service Description
Tour of Homes Information When registering at the Museum of the Friends Home (MFH), you will be provided with a wristband. You will be asked to show this as you enter each site. Note: All participants must sign a liability waiver to take the tour. Please note that the homes are privately owned and volunteer to be part of the tour, so they may or may not be handicap accessible. If you arrive after 5:00 p.m. without a prepaid ticket, you will not have time to tour all the structures. We suggest you choose the homes you wish to see. All properties close promptly at 6:00 pm The tour encompasses seven sites in Waynesville. It is not an entirely walkable tour. Parking is limited in some locations. At some locations, you may be asked to wear "booties" over your shoes. Please wear these during your visit, then remove them upon exiting and dispose of them in the receptacle provided. Restrooms will be available at the Museum of the Friends Home, and public restrooms are on Main Street. No smoking, pets, umbrellas, or backpacks are allowed inside buildings. Please, no food or beverages inside the buildings. No indoor camera or cell phone photography unless you ask for and receive permission from the homeowners. Please--only children ten years of age or older are welcome. We have made every effort to make the tour problem-free, but we do not assume responsibility for injuries or accidents that may occur during the tour. In an emergency, please call the Museum of the Friends Home at (513) 897-1607.
